The National Electric Mobility Policy provides a comprehensive framework aimed at advancing the adoption, regulation, and scaling up of electric mobility in Kenya. The Policy seeks to promote investment in the e-Mobility ecosystem, strengthen institutional and regulatory coordination, foster innovation, and enhance private sector participation. These interventions are intended to support the decarbonization and modernization of the Transport Sector, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, enhance energy security, and contribute to the country's climate action commitments, while aligning with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) through the creation of green jobs.
