The Summit aims to translate Africa's political commitments on local manufacturing into coordinated action, aligned investments, and accelerated implementation at continental and national levels; and strengthening the political authority required to unlock markets, mobilize finance, and remove regulatory and trade barriers. The Summit will bring together Heads of State and Government, Ministers, AU organs, National regulatory authorities, National procurement bodies, African health product manufacturers, financiers, sovereign investors, international organizations, and
development and implementing partners, all contributing to the collective objective of advancing local manufacturing of Pharmaceutical and Non-Pharmaceutical Commodities in Africa.
